Store Information
As our busiest location in Melbourne, located on bustling Swanston St in the CBD, this store brings with it the opportunity for a dynamic, high volume manager. This store is well known for its high skincare and haircare sales, along with creating exciting, layered group demonstrations.
As one of the original LUSH locations, this store is well known as a community hub for people in the city. All Are Welcome, Always in our stores, so you will be interacting with people from all different backgrounds with different stories.

The Role
As a LUSH Store Manager, you are responsible for driving sales, creating a culture of development and ensuring that your store is upholding our strong ethical beliefs and practices. This role is a blend of people, process and sales management. You will also need flexible full-time availability to meet the needs of the business, with regular RDOs on Sunday and Monday. As LUSH Swanston Street is in a central location attracting tourist foot traffic as well as local customers, you will be responsible for introducing a lot of people to LUSH for the first time, so a passion for above-and-beyond customer experience is a must. You know that great customer service is about more than just ticking a box; it’s about bringing a little bit of magic to people’s day.
To succeed in this role, you must have strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You must be a problem solver, who can make decisions quickly under pressure. You must be able to follow processes, but also be able to use initiative to drive sales and your business forward. You will be managing a team of between 15-20 people, so strong communication and staff development skills are essential. This is a role that is never boring; you will be constantly learning new things and developing your skills as a manager. It will suit someone with previous management experience who is looking for the next step in their retail career.

LUSH Swanston Street is located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, nearby to iconic landmarks such as Melbourne Town Hall and right around the corner from Bourke Street Mall. Tourists and out-of-town visitors as well as regular commuters frequent this area, so there's never a dull moment in this store. With trams, buses and trains all nearby, this store is easily accessible by public transport from most areas of Melbourne.
