Graphic Designer and Artworker

Get creative with our Brand Communications team!

We are recruiting for a permanent, full-time Graphic Designer.

The role can be based remotely within the Australian east coast (SA/WA and Aotearoa considered for the right candidate!)

Main Purpose:

To support the Lush Australia and Aotearoa business, with operationally critical art working (such as  signage, window graphics, VM materials, campaign assets), prepress, department administration, and spearheading the production of creative brand assets. .

Core Responsibilities:

• Localise global operational artwork for the AU/AO market.
• Work closely with our purchasing department to deliver accurate artworks to suppliers for manufacturing.
• Execute briefs from all departments of the business within set deadlines
• Establish, follow, and improve on processes within the design department including proactive, ongoing maintenance of documentation and asset management
• Support all departments within the business with design needs for internal materials
• Provide administrative design support to stores across AU/NZ
• Liaise and manage relationships with print suppliers other external vendors including sourcing suppliers and pricing that are in line with business needs.
• Occasional copywriting support when needed for web, social and EDM, internal comms and marketing materials
• Other tasks and responsibilities may be required from time to time to meet the changing needs of the business

• Is highly organised and detail orientated

• Demonstrates an ability to manage and communicate costs, quotes, and timelines, to stakeholders around the business

• Has a firm understanding of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

• Shows a passion and natural flair for graphic design, and an understanding of the LUSH brand

• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

• Shows excellent problem-solving skills

• Is punctual and attentive to the needs of both the Brand Communications team and the wider business

• Maintains a positive, can-do approach to tasks and problems

• Is process driven but can adapt and be flexible where needed
• Is passionate about contributing to environmental protection, human rights, and animal welfare
