The role

The Hornsby store are seeking a passionate manager who is skilled at people management, and passionate about local area marketing and building their customer base. Experience in retail and sales is an asset we are looking for.

Hornsby boasts one of the largest shops in Australia, making it a beautiful space to work in. The Hornsby team is made up of a mixture of experience levels, and are eager to build their reputation in the Hornsby area. Recently, Mecca has opened next door which has presented a great opportunity to expand our customer base. The hours needed for this role are Tuesday-Saturday, 38 hours with shifts varying as needed.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leading the shop floor by delegating tasks and ensuring that customer's needs are being met.

  • To thrive in our team, you will have previous leadership experience, ideally in retail management.

  • You will need to be confident in your ability to lead.

  •  You will need to be passionate about supporting the professional development of your team. We love to see our people grow in their careers with us, and we want you to support that!

  •  Great communication skills are a must for this role as is the ability to plan and think strategically around visual merchandising.
