The role

Our enthusiastic, tight-knit Chadstone team is looking for their next trainee manager! As trainee manager, you will play an essential role in our passionate leadership team and work closely with our store manager to encourage and motivate the team, and drive the store performance to success.

Our Chadstone store is tiny but mighty: we're in a busy and fast-paced shopping centre, with lots of opportunities for in-store activations. We’re keen to get creative and we are looking for a dedicated and passionate leader to help us explore new and exciting ways to pamper our customers, achieve our targets, and grow and reward our hard working team.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Motivating, growing and developing staff into a high performance team.

  • Working with your Store Manager and Supervisors to create a strong leadership team in-store.

  • Driving sales, achieving targets and financial goals.

  • Contributing to a positive culture where customers are prioritised.

  • Supporting staff with career development through targeted training, goal setting and regular appraisals.

  • Training staff on customer service, company history, product knowledge, and company policy and procedures.

  • Planning and delivering schedules within set wage budgets.

  • Maintaining a high standard of store presentation.

  • Ensuring stock management procedures are adhered to.

  • Helping to create a fun and dynamic shop atmosphere.

  • Assisting with other tasks when needed - we work as a team!
