The role
We are currently hiring a Forklift Driver to join our Warehouse team on a 6 month contract. This role is full-time, working 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:06pm. Our ideal candidate is energetic and positive, with a can-do attitude and is able to work in a fast paced environment. A current forklift license is essential, as well as previous experience with counterbalance and high-reach fork lift.
We get busy around here, so we are looking for someone who can work well under pressure, is flexible and can work effectively within a team.
Our warehouse is in Villawood, Sydney, NSW. If commuting by train, Leightonfield station is a short walk away.
Core responsibilities

Load and unload goods from trucks using forklift and other material handling equipment.

Store the goods in appropriate places in manufacturing or in the warehouse.

Transport goods to and from warehouse to the manufacturing site in a safe and timely manner.

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory.

Assisting with other warehouse related tasks when needed - we work as a team!
Our perfect match

Must have a valid current forklift license, as well as previous experience with counterbalance and high-reach fork lift.

Is physically capable of fulfilling the role, tasks include manual pick packing and lifting up to 25kg.

Possess strong communication and customer service skills.

Is available to work Monday-Friday from 6:00am to 2:06pm (38 hours per week).

Can communicate clearly in English.
