The role
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join our team. The Stock Controller will work with the Warehouse Manager in ordering, organising and handling stock. This will include ordering materials, transferring goods, controlling waste, leading stock-take and maintaining our systems. This is a full time position and you will be responsible for ensuring all stock holdings are accurate and system are up to date.
Our ideal candidate has a high level of attention to detail, and an ability to see the big picture as well as effectively time manage their day-to-day. We are looking for someone with strong numeracy and problem solving skills that can think logically. Computer and/or administration experience is also a plus, including proficiency on Word and Excel. The successful candidate will also hold a current forklift drivers license and have 3+ years of previous forklift experience, including high reach. You must be able to work full-time hours (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday on the morning shift which runs from 6am to 2:06pm.
This position is located in Villawood, Sydney. If commuting by train, Leightonfield station is a short walk away.
Core Responsibilities

Lead monthly stocktake and ensure that all stock is counted and accounted for by month end.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory for the department.
- Liaise with the Customer Service team regarding incoming and outgoing stock.
- Communicate with the Replenishment and Picking teams to ensure any information on new or existing products are passed on.
- Notify the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager of any issues that have arisen in relation to stock and stock levels.

Assisting with other production tasks when needed - we work as a team!

Is available 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Holds a current forklift drivers license and 3+ years of previous forklift experience, including high reach.

Is physically capable of fulfilling the role, including standing for 38 hours per week, lifting, and performing manual tasks.

Can complete tasks quickly and accurately.
- Proficiency on Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
