Lush Hobart is located in the CBD on bustling Murray St. Hobart is the perfect location for a manager looking to balance being based in a small city, while having easy access to nature. It is true that the air is fresher in Tasmania, and we are looking for a skilled, positive Store Manager to join our established team here.
The store has a long standing, passionate team who work well as a unit and are very eager to help their local community. The team have held successful Charity Pot parties over the last 12 months, and would love to have a manager who aligns with their ethics.
They are a very knowledgeable team, and the store has seen impressive growth across 2020 and 2021. Our perfect fit will be someone who is able to pick that up and continue on this success.
The Role
As a LUSH Store Manager, you are responsible for driving sales, creating a culture of development and ensuring that your store is upholding our strong ethical beliefs and practices. This role is a blend of people, process and sales management. You will also need flexible full-time availability to meet the needs of the business, with regular RDOs on Sunday and Monday. We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal and people-management skills, who maintain flexibility and know how to motivate a team during times of change, and are excited to develop their own management skills as well as supporting the development of a small and experienced team!
Being our only store in Tasmania, we are looking for someone who is comfortable with remote support and is comfortable reaching out for support when needed. You will need to be an expert communicator, both in person and over the phone/email. This is a close knit team, so someone who is able to develop strong relationships while maintaining professional boundaries is a must. They are incredibly high performing, so being able to motivate and develop an experienced team will be very important.
