About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on, people-savvy generalist to step into the Tech Services Lead role. This role is perfect for someone who’s just as comfortable triaging support tickets as they are negotiating with vendors or supporting the next big system rollout.
As the Tech Service Lead, you’ll be embedded in every layer of our technology operations: managing rostering and workflows for our Helpdesk, partnering with vendors and the broader Digital team on infrastructure upgrades, keeping a close eye on contracts and budgets, and making sure our retail, manufacturing, and support teams are set up to succeed.
This role is ideal for someone who loves variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely enjoys making life easier for the people around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support our Tech Services team day-to-day, coordinating rotas, assigning tickets, and jumping in on frontline support as needed
- Be the escalation point for the Helpdesk team, guiding resolution and spotting trends before they become issues
- Support infrastructure, systems, and platform rollouts from planning through to training
- Work with vendors on everything from contracts to service delivery, keeping relationships productive and cost-effective
- Help manage the departmental budget and procurement process, ensuring smart and sustainable tech investments
- Keep our internal documentation current and useful including onboarding guides, asset registers or process maps
- Support risk, compliance, and privacy efforts, ensuring data and infrastructure practices stay aligned with global standards
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations, boost digital fluency, and improve the overall experience of tech at Lush
Skills and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in an IT Support role (supervisor level preferred)
- Confident with Google Workspace, ticketing systems and general SaaS platforms
- Solid working knowledge of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting, including IP addressing, VPNs, and VLANs
- Platform agnostic - comfortable working across a range of OEMs and OS ecosystems
- Experienced with Active Directory and other remote access tools for managing users, devices, and secure login environments
- Strong organisational skills. You’re across the detail but can see the big picture
- Experience with vendor management, budgeting, or procurement is a big plus
- A natural problem-solver and clear communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Awareness of data privacy best practices
- Kind, constructive, and able to give and receive feedback openly
