The role

As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of LUSH, helping spread the love of our products to every customer who walks through the door. You’ll manage stock levels efficiently, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and accessible for an optimal shopping experience. By building connections with customers, you’ll understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations and product demonstrations. You’ll also contribute to achieving sales targets by creatively promoting products and collaborating with the team to exceed goals. Actively participating in training and development, you'll expand your product knowledge and enhance your customer service skills. Working closely with the team, you’ll foster an inclusive and respectful environment, positively impacting the overall customer experience.

Casuals can expect to receive varied numbers of hours week by week, adapting to the needs of the business.

Core Responsibilities

• Assisting with stock handling, tidying the store, and putting beautiful products on our shelves.

• Having genuine enthusiasm when serving customers and displaying the highest level of LUSH customer service.

• Taking customers on interactive store tours and finding them the perfect products.

• Demonstrating products and creating experiences with customers.

• Maintaining thorough product knowledge, referring to key ingredients and describing their benefits with confidence.

• Assisting with other stock or sales related tasks when needed - we work as a team!

Our Perfect Match

• Has retail and/or customer facing experience (preferred but not necessary).

• Has flexible availability to meet the needs of the business (minimum 3 full days per week for potential shifts). 

• Is physically capable of a fast paced role which involves regular lifting/manual handling. 

• Is a genuine people-person, and loves to help others.

• Has a strong ethical compass and is passionate about our brand values.

• Is a fast learner and wants to soak up knowledge about all things LUSH!
