The role
LUSH Pacific Fair are looking for a passionate and sales focused Trainee Manager to join their friendly and experienced team!
The Pacific Fair team is a dynamic and diverse group that takes a holistic, big-picture approach to their roles both within the store and across the business nationwide. Driven by KPIs and sales targets, they inspire visitors to continue their LUSH journey at their local store, all while offering friendly and expert knowledge on everything LUSH. As a LUSH Trainee Manager, you work with the Store Manager to drive sales, create a culture of development and ensure that your store is upholding strong ethical practices. You lead by example, provide outstanding customer service and spreading the love of LUSH products to staff and customers. Trainee Managers also help to ensure scheduling, stock handling and cost control are managed efficiently. This role is a blend of people, process and sales management.
To thrive in this role, we’re seeking candidates with a proven ability to drive sales and manage a fast-paced shop floor. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about creating personalized experiences for both visitors to the Gold Coast and our local community. As a feedback-driven store, we value individuals who embrace giving and receiving feedback, and who know how to motivate and engage the team, adapting seamlessly to both peak and quieter periods of the day. Strong people management skills are essential, as we’re looking for someone who can lead by example, inspire the team, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
This is a full time position, working 38 hours per week on the Sunday - Thursday roster, with a rotating Thursday night roster.

Motivating, growing and developing staff into a high performance team.

Working with your Store Manager and Supervisors to create a strong leadership team in-store.

Driving sales, achieving targets and financial goals.

Contributing to a positive culture where customers are prioritised.

Supporting staff with career development through targeted training, goal setting and regular appraisals.

Training staff on customer service, company history, product knowledge, and company policy and procedures.

Planning and delivering schedules within set wage budgets.

Maintaining a high standard of store presentation.

Ensuring stock management procedures are adhered to.

Helping to create a fun and dynamic shop atmosphere.

Assisting with other tasks when needed - we work as a team!
