The role
LUSH QVB is located in the heritage listed Queen Victoria Building in the Sydney CBD. It's positioning makes it very conveniently accessible by public transport, with the entrance to Town Hall station on the same level and only a few minutes walk away. They have a strong base of loyal customers as well as plenty of foot traffic from tourists and local professionals popping in on their lunch break or commute. This beautifully fitted store attracts lots of attention, so a manager who knows how to take advantage of busy times is a must! This store is regularly in the top 10 LUSH Stores worldwide and is the highest turnover store in Australia. The team here are vibrant and passionate with a great knowledge of LUSH products and values.
As a LUSH Store Manager, you are responsible for driving sales, creating a culture of development and ensuring that your store is upholding our strong ethical beliefs and practices. This role is a blend of people, process and sales management. You will also need flexible full-time availability to meet the needs of the business, with regular RDOs on Sunday and Monday. As this is our flagship store, we are looking for someone who is resilient and adaptable in a fast paced environment. You need to be organised and adept at planning ahead, while remaining flexible as things can change very quickly. Our ideal candidate is not afraid of challenging norms, and is innovative when it comes to driving sales and managing costs. You should be passionate about team development, and have a contagious enthusiasm for sales and customer experience. You want to be the best of the best, and know that there is always something new you can be learning or trying. You want to showcase LUSH not just to your customers, but want to inspire and motivate other managers in the business.

Motivating, growing and developing staff into a high performing team.

Working with your Trainee Manager and Supervisors to creating a strong leadership team in-store.

Driving sales, achieving targets and financial goals.

Contributing to a positive store culture where customers are prioritised.

Leading the shop floor by delegating tasks and ensuring that customer's needs are being met.

To thrive in our team, you will have previous leadership experience, ideally in retail management.

You will need to be confident in your ability to lead.

Ensuring stock management procedures are adhered to.

Great communication skills are a must for this role as is the ability to plan and think strategically around visual merchandising.
